GOD’S WORK. OUR HANDS.

… in addition to work we do within our community each day to make it a better place, we also participate in “God’s Work. Our Hands.” Sunday each year with the ELCA. Service activities offer an opportunity to explore one of our most basic convictions as Lutherans: that everything in our life – every act of service, every daily calling, in every corner of life – flows freely from a living, daring confidence in God’s grace.

GOOD GIFTS

… serves communities throughout the United States and the world. Each community served identifies the needs and priorities in their community, as well as the solutions they believe will make the biggest impact. Among the 50 giving options for communities in need are: clean water, animals to help a family or community escape poverty, honey bees, schooling for local children and adults, vegetable gardens, irrigation, and health clinics.

… has 6 regional offices in the state of Georgia, and provides service to thousands of individuals and families in the areas of basic needs, stability and safety, community integration, and self-sufficiency. Inspiritus helps empower those whose lives have been disrupted to discover their strengths and resilience, accompanying them as they grow into vibrant contributors to their community.

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF

… tackles global poverty by helping people adapt to the challenges that threaten their livelihoods and well-being. LWR works with people based on need, no matter their race, religion or nationality and does not evangelize. Aid is provided in emergencies and help given to families to restore their lives. By partnering with communities, LWR helps people build self‐sufficiency and creates new community‐owned approaches to problem‐solving that will last long after the projects end.
